My name is Michael Woods, and I am a Keller High School graduate (Class of 1990). The purpose of this email is to introduce you to programs that we offer and that might be more attractive and an alternative to the typical college education for some of your students who will be graduating next month.

We are a private, non-profit Technical School licensed and regulated by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). We offer a variety of skills-training programs – CNC machining, AWS welding, HVAC technician training and certification, bookkeeping (with Quickbooks, Office, etc…), and an electrical pre-apprenticeship program. Our programs are all grant-funded, so students and/or their families are not burdened down with costs or loans to pay later. We have over 80 employers and five labor unions as partners who are ready to hire our graduates as soon as they earn their certifications. These are high-paying, career opportunities.

We would like you and/or your staff to share our program with students you may have that you believe would be better suited for training and placement into the skills trades. We have a shared commitment to provide opportunities for youth entering the workforce. Please feel free to check out our website at https://clcinc.org. We also have pages on social media sites such as Facebook https://www.facebook.com/CLCFW and LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/company/community-learning-center-clc-inc/. I have also attached our current a flyer. Please contact us if you have students we may be able to help.

Thank you,

Preparing Today’s Workforce to Meet Tomorrow’s Industry Needs
